"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2 — School PreceptThe university's founding purpose — to cultivate faithful Christians and produce them as leaders for churches, schools, and society — is rooted in Christian ideology derived from the school precept, 2 Timothy 2:2.
Since the establishment of the Graduate School of Theology in 1994, the university has raised numerous church leaders and contributed significantly to the academic development of theology. In 2002, with the opening of the Graduate School, the Graduate School of Education, and the Graduate School of Social Welfare, it truly established itself as a comprehensive university. Through in-depth research in foundational disciplines, as well as specialized academic study and practical field training in each major, the university aims to foster professional intellectuals needed by the nation, society, and the church, thereby further developing and transforming our society.
