Greetings

Gangseo University is a university founded on the spirit of Christianity. Its identity and mission go beyond being a mere institution of higher education — it is to become an educational community that realizes truth, love, and freedom within the will of God. However, Gangseo University now stands at a crossroads where the threat of crisis and the promise of opportunity coexist at the eye of an approaching storm.

I will lead the way, pressing through this storm to begin the change. There will no doubt be many difficulties ahead, but as president, I will always listen closely to the voices of our community members as we move forward. Built on a foundation of trust with our community, I will turn this crisis into opportunity, and work to build a university where every member grows together.

In every decision, every act of administration, and every policy, I will seek God's will, carry out my responsibilities with a spirit of prayer, and build a university where Christian values breathe and live across all areas of education, research, and industry-academic cooperation.

I will be a president who is honest before God and trusted before people — not merely in words, but in life; not merely in title, but in attitude. Through the '4-Strength 3-West Gangseo STRONG PLAN', I will fulfill the vision of "Glocal Gangseo University, Leading the Future Knowledge Ecosystem of Seoul's Southwestern Region", and I will absolutely realize a university where every member can live with purpose and happiness together.

Kim Kang
8th President of Gangseo University
